  1. Awesome! More, more, more!

Curious why you colorized in Photoshop vs. Illustrator? I've been using Inkscape's trace feature on scanned art, then colorizing the shapes. I'm pretty sure Illustrator's trace support is a lot better than Inkscape's.

  2. Thanks :) I stuck with Photoshop after scanning the image in, I had the outline I needed and I really just colored in layers underneath it. My coloring process was not advanced at all and I'm guessing there is functionality that would make it easier. I mainly colored it as you would using an airbush, layer after layer.

I've never used Live Trace in Illustrator, but I will now :)

  4. I have used Live Trace from time to time in Illustrator CS2 and it works pretty well overall. I have heard that the CS3 version is even better still. I actually like working in Illustrator for a lot of my design work and then utilizing Photoshop for the finishing touches as necessary. Anyway, great work Adam and good to see you back posting again.
