Drawn for my son, inked, scanned in and colored with Photoshop.
Awesome! More, more, more!Curious why you colorized in Photoshop vs. Illustrator? I've been using Inkscape's trace feature on scanned art, then colorizing the shapes. I'm pretty sure Illustrator's trace support is a lot better than Inkscape's.
Thanks :) I stuck with Photoshop after scanning the image in, I had the outline I needed and I really just colored in layers underneath it. My coloring process was not advanced at all and I'm guessing there is functionality that would make it easier. I mainly colored it as you would using an airbush, layer after layer.I've never used Live Trace in Illustrator, but I will now :)
Cool character!I can see why he took time to create.See ya,Mom.
I have used Live Trace from time to time in Illustrator CS2 and it works pretty well overall. I have heard that the CS3 version is even better still. I actually like working in Illustrator for a lot of my design work and then utilizing Photoshop for the finishing touches as necessary. Anyway, great work Adam and good to see you back posting again.
