I just posted a video on Channel 9 of my interview with Mike Sampson, the tallest member of the EvNet dev team.  Other than collecting LEGOs and adding them to his desk collection, he also spends a lot of time in the media pipeline for the EvNet sites which include Channel 8, 9 and 10 and MIX Online.

In order to improve the experience of the playback of these videos while removing a step from the encoding process, Mike has been working on a Silverlight player the different sites.  He covers how he was able to reuse code from Expression Encoder and what customizations he had to write himself.
