What am I building?

I build AI agents that do real work — not demos, not prototypes, but systems that run every day. My main project is an always-on agent that handles scheduling, task management, morning briefings, and operational coordination across multiple products. It runs on a Mac Mini with a custom Node.js harness, Claude API for reasoning, and self-hosted open-source tools as the backend.

I write about what I learn along the way. Every article on this site comes from a real building session — a problem I hit, a pattern I discovered, or a decision I had to make. The technical fixes go to AI All The Things, where I publish daily for AI agent developers. The bigger-picture thinking lives here.

What do I write about?

AI agents and how to make them practical. Model Context Protocol and what it changes for tool use. Enterprise AI adoption — the gap between strategy and operating reality. Developer experience, automation architecture, and the craft of building things that last. I've spent 25+ years at companies like Microsoft and Stripe learning what it takes to ship platforms at scale, and now I'm applying that to AI.
