This is a cool demo of how the Zune is actually used to share songs. Watch as Duncan bridges the gap between Canada and the US by sharing a song with his friend Brian. Poetry in motion it is.

Yes, and I must point out that I did my part by providing the Zune icon for the Zune download link. I'm proud of that little icon.

<trackback:ping>http://adamkinney.com/blog/178/trackback/default.aspx</trackback:ping>

A new Zune animation and details revealed

Actually I'm not sure when the new animation went live, but I really like this one. I saw few comments putting the first one (giant and little man sharing a bunny), but I think this one may get a better reception. You can't beat flaming, head-banging bird :) Both animaitons are displayed on comingzune.com.

Details on the Zune are revealed here.

<trackback:ping>http://adamkinney.com/blog/174/trackback/default.aspx</trackback:ping>

Coming Zune

ComingZune.com is interesting site refering to Zune which is something new from Microsoft. The Niners seemed a bit turned off by the site in this thread. I don't think its really that bad, and I dig the music by Regina Spektor and I don't think it was trying to hard to be a "viral marketing site". Its just a "coming soon, give us your email for more info later". Two issues though, it needs a skip intro button, as well as just a little bit of enough like what can be found on Cesar Menedez's blog Zune Insider:

It's Microsoft's new, holistic approach to music and entertainment.

I think that would negate a bit of the furstration, as well an RSS feed alternative to email as suggested in the ch9 thread. All in all, looks interesting and looking forward to find out more.

<trackback:ping>http://adamkinney.com/blog/153/trackback/default.aspx</trackback:ping>
