The "Blind Beastwing", a second attempt at AI Art and Animation

I created this creature using Scenario (an AI-powered art generation tool), followed by a meticulous Photoshop cleanup. This was one of my early experiments in using AI to draft art, and honestly? I found it incredibly rewarding.

The Origin Story

At first, this was just a concept for someone who resonated with the words “Blind Beastwing.” They practically lived on Slack — the kind of person whose presence was more digital than physical.

Unleashing the Beast

But then… I got attached. I wanted to uncover its true face and see its wings flap majestically. So, I took the leap into Runway — an AI-powered video generation tool I was just starting to explore. Animating AI-generated art? That’s an entirely different beast. Getting the right elements to move naturally required fine-tuning and patience.

AI as a Digital Art Studio?

Every step of this process felt like unlocking new creative dimensions. The ability to generate, refine, and bring art to life — all within a digital AI-assisted pipeline — is something that fascinates me.

This is just the beginning.

What do you think? Have you tried using AI in creative projects?
